In I-EP, we advocate the experiential teaching, giving students immersive experiences through various ways to make learning vivid, interesting and lively. In order to further stimulate students' enthusiasm for exploring the science and allow them to learn more about high-tech, on 16th November 2023, we take all the students from G8 and G9 of I-EP to the R&D Headquarters of Xiaopeng Automobile in Guangzhou, where they could learn, experience the convenience that high-tech has brought to our life.
在I-EP,我们主张体验式教学,通过多种方式给予学生身临其境的感受,让学习变得生动形象、有趣活泼。为了进一步激发学生们探索科学的热情,让他们了解更多高新科技的知识,2023年11月16日,华外创新融合部(I-EP)中学八、九年级全体学生在各班班主任及科学老师的带领下,前往了小鹏汽车广州研发总部参观学习,一起体验了高科技给我们生活带来的便利。
Students first came to the cultural exhibition hall of Xiaopeng Automobile. There, the staffs have introduced the history of Xiaopeng Automobile's corporate development, its scale and its various R&D bases to the students. In addition, they also explained the high-tech products that Xiaopeng Automobile is currently engaged in, including the intelligent pure electric car and the Peng Xing robot horse. Under the patient explanation of the staffs, our students had more intuitive impression of the great changes brought by high technology to our daily life.
同学们率先了来到了小鹏汽车的文化展厅。在那里,工作人员为同学们介绍了小鹏汽车的企业发展历程、规模以及各研发基地。此外,他们还向同学们一一讲解了小鹏汽车目前从事的高科技研究产品,包括智能纯电动汽车和鹏行机器马等等。在工作人员的耐心解读下,同学们更直观地感受到了高科技给我们日常生活带来的巨大改变。
Next, led by the staff from Xiaopeng Automobile Company, the students witnessed the amazing capabilities of the Intelligent Driver-less Parking System. They saw the vehicle autonomously drive into the parking space and accurately park without the human intervention. This intelligent parking system not only provides convenience for people, but also brings higher efficiency and safety to urban traffic.
A series of explanation and experience helped our students understand the great potential of intelligent driver-less parking system and its brilliant development prospect deeply, as well as make them filled with anticipation and interest in the field of science and technology innovation and the intelligent transport.
接下来,在小鹏汽车公司相关工作人员的引领下,同学们亲眼目睹了智能无人驾驶泊车系统的惊人表现。他们看到了车辆自主驶入停车位,精准停靠,而无需人为干预。这种智能化的停车方式不仅为人们提供了便利,还为城市交通带来了更高的效率和安全性。
一系列的讲解与体验让同学们深刻认识到了智能无人驾驶泊车系统的无限潜力和广阔前景,也让他们对科技创新和智能交通领域的发展充满了期待和兴趣。
Finally, Dr. Zuo from the technology department of Xiaopeng Automobile Company has given a wonderful lecture on battery technology to the students. Dr. Zuo analyzed the cutting-edge knowledge of battery technology for the students in an clever way, and his humorous language made this complex technology topic become vivid and interesting.
At the same time, Dr. Zuo also expressed his best wishes for our students. He emphasised that the knowledge of basic disciplines such as physics and chemistry is very crucial to understand and master battery technology. Therefore, he has encouraged our students to take solid foundation in these subjects as the starting point and contribute to the advancement of science and technology in our country.
最后,小鹏汽车公司技术部的左博士给同学们带来一场精彩的电池技术讲座。左博士以深入浅出的方式,为同学们详细分析了电池技术的前沿知识,他形象幽默的语言使得这个复杂的科技主题变得生动有趣。

In this learning experience activity in Xiaopeng Automobile Company, we have deeply felt the students' enthusiasm and desire for high-tech. Instead of passively observing and listening, they actively exchanged and discussed with the staff and raised different in-depth questions, which demonstrated the young generation's love and pursuit of science and technology. This field trip not only enhanced the students' scientific and technological literacy, but also stimulated their desire to explore scientific and technological innovation. We expect them to continue to probe on the future and contribute their strength to the progress of the field of science and technology.
